What moves the price
- Property size and condition. A neglected flat takes twice the hours of a maintained one.
- Team size and minimum hours. More cleaners finish faster at the same hourly rate. Minimum bookings of three to four hours are normal.
- Materials and equipment. Steam cleaners and specialist products add AED 20 to 50 per visit.
- Frequency. Weekly bookings are cheaper per visit than a one-off clean.
- Provider type. Licensed companies and Tadbeer centres cost more than unlicensed freelancers, and carry the legal risk instead of you.
How to read these prices
These are indicative ranges compiled by the Moathaq editorial team from published rate cards, public tariffs and typical market prices. They are not government tariffs and they are not quotes. Last reviewed: October 2026. Your quote will differ, so always ask for a written quote before work starts.
These are prices from licensed companies and include the cleaner's wage, visa, insurance and supplies. VAT of 5 percent applies where the company is registered. These are typical Dubai prices; in the other emirates prices are often similar or somewhat lower. A rate far below AED 30 per hour all-in is below what a licensed provider can pay for a worker's salary and visa.

How to get a fair quote
Ask for the hourly rate, the number of cleaners, the minimum hours and what is included. Ask who employs the cleaners and whether the same people will come each time.
Ask what insurance covers breakage, how to claim and the cancellation window. Check the company's licence with our guide to verifying a trade licence.
Red flags
Do not hand over your Emirates ID, and do not leave valuables in view.
