What moves the price
- Type of pest. Bed bugs and termites need more visits and more skill than ants.
- Property size and floors. Villas, gardens and multi-storey buildings cost more than studios.
- Infestation level. A severe infestation needs repeat visits and sealing work.
- Method. Heat treatment for bed bugs and soil treatment for termites cost more than spraying.
- Warranty length. Longer warranties come with a higher first price and often with annual inspections.
How to read these prices
These are indicative ranges compiled by the Moathaq editorial team from published rate cards, public tariffs and typical market prices. They are not government tariffs and they are not quotes. Last reviewed: October 2026. Your quote will differ, so always ask for a written quote before work starts.
Prices are for companies licensed by the emirate's economic department (DET in Dubai, ADDED in Abu Dhabi, SEDD in Sharjah) and approved by the municipality (in Dubai, Dubai Municipality), and exclude VAT of 5 percent where the company is registered. These are typical Dubai prices; in the other emirates prices are often similar or somewhat lower. An unapproved worker at the door may charge less, but the products and method are not controlled.

How to get a fair quote
Ask for the pest identification, the products to be used, how long you must stay out and the warranty in writing. Ask for the municipality approval number (in Dubai, Dubai Municipality) and the technician's ID.
Ask for a service report after each visit. It is your evidence for the warranty and for the landlord.
Red flags
