IT companies in the UAE cover office networks and Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, backups, security, CCTV and managed support. What separates a good provider is not the brand list but the contract.

What a proper service includes

A good contract has four parts:

• A service level with a response time
• Named engineers
• A monthly report
• An exit clause

Ask who owns the admin accounts. The answer should be you. A provider should also say plainly what it will not cover, such as line-of-business software, printers or staff-owned devices.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you stay responsible for customer and staff data even when a provider hosts it, so ask where it is stored and how backups are tested.

What it costs

Managed support for a small office typically costs AED 100 to 300 per user per month, or AED 1,500 to 6,000 in total, depending on response times. Projects such as a network upgrade are quoted separately and should list hardware and labour apart. These are typical Dubai prices; in the other emirates prices are often similar or somewhat lower.
